I ordered these for an 8 year old and they fit as they should. I am thinking that they would be big for a 5 year old so pay attention to the measurements they provide on the listing. But they do have the strap around them which could help to hold them on if they were a bit big. They worked great for us. I love how much fluff they have inside as I tried to show on the picture. This fluffy area goes all the way through the fingers so should provide good protection in the winter. The palms have a grip surface that makes these a good choice for kids when they need it on a playground. They appear to have a waterproof fabric exterior to keep the kids dry and the cuffed wrist should help to keep snow out.

    Perfect gloves that are lined with fur and keeps the wetness and cold out. However, they were a little snug to get on but my child loved them anyways!

    I’m very disappointed that these gloves are NOT waterproof whatsoever. My kids have just now gotten a chance to test them out with snow play and by the time they were done, these gloves are 5lbs heavier and completely soaked on the inside. They should not be advertised as waterproof at all. They are terrible quality if that’s the case. Thank goodness these were cheap because I have already missed the return window but now searching for actual waterproof gloves now. Additionally, we ordered the sizes that should accommodate my 2 kids and the fingers are excessively long on both of them.
