While I always thought hockey was interesting, I didn't really get into it until my kids expressed an interest. Now, I'm all in. I now have three kids playing hockey and all are wearing at least one shock doctor product, if not two. This shirt is great. It wicks the sweat away, protects the neck without suffocating the kiddo, and the rubberized sleeves help keep the elbow pads in place. We had a separate neck guard for about a year and while I liked that, it was kinda easy to displace unless I put it on crazy tight. With this one, no issue. Great product. I dig this company… nice work!

I see a lot of people talking about the sleeves being long, I believe you are meant to double back the sleeves over the elbow pads to lock them in place and keep them from sliding down. Put the shirt on, out the elbow pads on, pull the extra length back up over the elbow pads.

My son loves this compression neck guard shirt. He says it's nice and comfortable. The neck part isn't to tight yet it keeps him safe. It's great at wicking away sweat. Overall a great purchase.

Very nice top perfect for youth ice hockey. My son is 7 and usually wears size 6-7-8 and this shirt was on the bigger side but we can fold back the sleeves for now.

The shirt itself is good quality. I decided to get the shirt and neck, guard combination, as that’s what my daughter‘s coach recommended. However, my daughter complains about putting this shirt on every day that she has to go to hockey. She hates having the neck guard on her shirt when it’s not needed. I don’t think the shirt is bad, I just think that she has sensory issues and it would’ve been nice to have an option that could go on immediately before practice versus when she puts the shirt on at our house. Just maybe something to consider if you have a child that is sensory sensitive

We purchased an XS for my almost 5 yr old boy who is 43” and 45 lbs to meet the hockey neck guard requirement and he is swimming in it!!! 6+ extra inches in each arm.

If I could leave zero stars I would, for wasting my time and money. The length in the arms is comical, compared to the rest of the shirt. They are way too long for a child. The neck guard measurements are also off. Do yourself a favor and skip these. For the price you pay, you can get way better shirts for the same or less.

Unfortunate
My son plays ice hockey as a goalie and has always worn shock doctor under layers. I bought this shirt in a larger size as he grows. After two machine front loader washes the thread holding the elastic wrist has come apart. This was an expensive garment for it to fall apart so easily. Will use a thread and needle to fix, but not sure Ill buy another.
