I got these sandals in black, size 6 Big Kid. They also fit a women's size 7.5. I would say they run true to size but if you don't want your toes stopping at the tip of the sandal, consider sizing up as the fabric behind the heel is not adjustable. They are very lightweight, to the point where I can almost forget I’m wearing them. They naturally conform to the shape of my soles and feel very comfortable underfoot.
The only part I’m still breaking in is the fabric fastener around the toes. Even when loosened, the base of the sole where it attaches feels slightly narrower than my foot. It’s a very minor issue, and I haven’t had any rubbing or blisters. I’ve just been wearing them for a week, a few hours at a time, and they’re gradually molding to my foot shape.
The fasteners are easy to adjust, even for a child. They offer great traction, and I typically wear mine outside in the yard on sand and grass. The soles flex naturally with each step, and the balance between cushioning and firmness feels just right.
They remind me of Teva sandals but feel more comfortable and better fitted to the foot. Since they pick up sand easily, I just rinse them off with the hose, and they’re dry and ready to go again by the next morning. These are solid, comfortable sandals for everyday wear.
Both my wife and daughter are fighting over these sandals for the summer. They are exceptionally lightweight sandals, the kind I could see wearing on a beach vacation trip and potentially leaving behind, were they not so comfortable. The footbed has enough give to make this comfortable on short hiking trips or walks to the beach, and the strong velcro mechanisms on the straps means it's not going to fall off. There is no real give on any of the attachments, so you do have to have this fitted good to avoid blistering and rubbing, but assuming you do that both my wife and daughter are happy with it, giving this an easy five stars.
I got these sandals for my daughter and they have been such a great purchase! She absolutely loves them and reaches for them every time we’re heading out. They’re lightweight, comfortable, and perfect for all the running around kids do during the summer.
One of my favorite features is the adjustable double straps. I intentionally ordered a size up, and thanks to the straps, she’s able to wear them comfortably right now without them slipping off. It also means she’ll be able to grow into them, which is a huge plus for getting more use out of them.
The non-slip sole gives me peace of mind when she’s playing outside. They seem durable and hold up well to everyday wear, while still being easy for her to put on and take off.
Overall, these are a fantastic mix of comfort, practicality, and value. I’ll definitely be ordering another pair when she outgrows these!
